Guide to Sweden I

Whenever a Swedish person says:

"Isn't it cold?"

you should immediately call their bluff by replying:

"But you're Swedish!"

- because, actually, underneath their clothes, Swedes don't have normal human skin. They are covered in fur, like Chewbacca, and cannot feel the cold.

Perhaps, that notion of Swedes being shrouded in fur instead of the standard human skin evolved from Hollywood Studios… Everybody has got the right to be sensitive to cold!

I don't agree, I hate when they say that to you, I'm a cold blooded person and I'm always cold. I must say that the rawness of UK weather will penetrate anything you wear.

Yup, that's it, Svenska... I'm always cold as well, and I don't get it why foreigners are so surprised by this. Do the actually believe that we are Chewbaccas?

I dunno its very strange, I don't get Brits and I don't think they get us... but I'm reading a book now called "Watching the English" which I hope will give me some clarity".
